Hotel Ammenities Just two hours away from the San Salvador airport, but a world away from the city, Azul Surf Club offers guests all the best amenities in a relaxed tropical atmosphere. The hotel was built with Salvadorean living in mind. Our comfortable rooms have large patios overlooking traditional palm roofed dining pavilions and the lovely sea beyond. Our beautiful pool with its’ swim up bar and the hammocks throughout the hotel remind you to unwind every step of the way.

The hotel has a total of 12 rooms. Each room can accommodate up to four people with either two matrimonial beds or two bunk beds, depending on what best suits your needs. The rooms all come with air conditioning, cable tv, a safe and hot water. All rooms also come with a I pod docs for your personal listening enjoyment. The media room boasts a flat screen tv, your pick of our DVD library and games galore. Internet access is available for those who bring their lap tops, and cell phones can be rented for those who need to connect home. Calling cards are also available for random calls.

Minutes away from the small town of El Cuco, you will be sure to enjoy the local culture. This is a very safe fishing community, far away from the hazards of the city, with a small town and very friendly vibe. We encourage you to walk to the local bars to have a Pilsner or take a bike ride and see what you discover.

Enjoy the sounds of the jungle, sit by a bonfire, slow down for a bit and know that you are helping those in need… your soul will thank you for it.

San Salvador is serviced by daily flights from the following US cities… Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC, New York, Boston and Milan. If booking your own flights, please be aware of airline excess baggage embargos, which prohibit surfboards on flights at certain times of the year. CONTINENTAL year round, DELTA Nov 15th to Jan 15th and July 15th to Aug 15th, also United May 28th to Sept 6th and Dec 4th to Jan 6th. Taca and American are usually the most trustworthy carriers for transporting surfboards. Travel insurance (just in case) is always recommended.
